Storm Water Pump Rebuild
Innovative Engineering & Maintenance repaired a Fairbanks Morse Vertical Water Pump which was severely damaged and corroded from 40 years of continuous service.
IE&M safely uncoupled the motor and pump from its foundation and removed it from the vault. The pump was completely refurbished to like-new condition by IE&M with a custom fabricated new shaft, tapered discharge body, discharge elbow, and brass bushing. This included a balanced impeller, new flanges, sand blasting with three-coat marine grade coating, and a restored motor.
The pump was then assembled, installed, and tested.
IE&M’s quality and efficiency provided our customer with a stunning, finished product that was half the price of what a new assembly would have cost while never sacrificing performance and quality.
